I don’t know where this will end on or what it was intended for but i guess i’m just posting this because i know some people on this planet might like it. Honestly i have not heard anything worth listening to so far from that album Pink Friday Nicki Minaj is working on.
Even though years have passed and countless “lauryn hill is in the studio working” rumors have risen nothing is more official than now. Everybody’s favorite female lyricist (well at least mine) Lauryn Hill is back!!
It has been almost twelve years since Lauryn Hill dropped her classic album “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.” With hits like “Lost Ones,” “Doo Wop (That Thing),” “Nothing Even Matters” and so much more, I know we are all welcoming her back with open arms. Isn’t crazy to how the lyrical content on that album can still be so relatable ten years later?
Ms. Hill has five children with Bob Marley’s son, Rohan Marley. She said in a recent video that her kids are the reason why she’s been gone from the game so long. Either way, the game desperately needs her. I NEED HER!
Although Ms. Hill is back in the studio, I still wonder what kind of music she will be releasing. Will it be classic Lauryn or more of a new her. It’s like a hit or miss for old artists to come back out and still succeed. However, I will be supporting whatever she releases. LOL
Recently, Ms. Hill has been performing on the Rock the Bells tour. Check out this video of her in New York bringing out Beyonce, Jay-Z, Swizz Beats, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige and more on stage.
Mr. 305 is the latest to join the ever-growing lists of US artists go into the Dance songs veranda as he releases the first single Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor) from his new album Planet Pit.

Mr. Songz takes his regularly nasty song route on this new one The Usual off the upcoming album Passion, Plain & Pleasure hitting a store near you September 14th.
T-Pain’s latest single off the upcoming album, this one is titled Rap Song. I really like it and will take him and his vocoder singing any day, than him rapping as he’s been doing recently. This somewhat has that Bartender feel to it which makes me think he should have had Akon or someone singing on it, rather than Rick Ross rapping. Not saying Rozay didn’t do his thing as usual, just an opinion.
B.o.B performs for a compact MTV crowd as he takes on songs off his debut album while having some guest stars to help him along the way. Melanie Fiona on Airplanes, Robin Thicke on Nothin’ On You, Janelle Monae on The Kids, he also performed Magic and Don’t Let Me Fall.
I like T.I and all but i thought we stopped using the word Swag in ’08? Anyways here’s something new off his upcoming album King Uncaged, features Man Of This Summer Rick Ross.
Download: T.I ft. Rick Ross – Pledge Allegiance To The Swag [Prod. J.U.S.T.I.C.E League]
I’m pretty late with this one, considering it’s been out for about 18 hours and almost everyone seems to have their virtual hands on it already. New single from Wiz Khalifa Black And Yellow, i’ve not really gotten into his music much but this is a very solid song.

This has got to be one of the better songs out there right now, just had chance to listen to it last week and here’s the official video to accompany. The Lady Killer hits stores December 7th.
After the long wait, Big Sean’s latest Mixtape Finally Famous Vol.3 is finally here, hosted by Don Cannon and features the likes of Drake, Bun B, Mike Posner, Tyga and more.
Nasir is definitely not playing nowadays, the tenacity and venom on this short song speaks for itself, if he’s not one of the best to ever do it, i don’t know who is. This better mean he is working on a new album soon, i’m still feeding off that Distant Relative classic he and Damian released.
It all started as a few tweet exchanges, @KanyeWest brought up the idea of these great artists making a remix to Justin Bieber’s song Runaway Love off his last album My World 2.0. Now we have the song available in full, released without Tags through Kanye’s Blog.

Finally we have the video to Jazmine Sullivan’s latest single Holding You Down (Goin’ In Circles) off the upcoming album Love Me Back dropping soon. I Love me some Jazmine.
Something new from Fabo for the ladies as he hooks up with the great Ryan Leslie to create this track You Be Killin’ Em off the upcoming EP There Is No Competition 2 dropping September 6th.
Going solo after worldwide success with arguably the greatest female group of all time Destiny’s Child was not going to be something easy to embark on. Successful with her debut album Dangerously In Love, the success of her second album B’Day was going to be crucial in her becoming the biggest female artist in the world as she is right now. Irreplaceable serving as the second single, got over-played on the radio, TV, and was on the Billboard Hot 100 for 10 consecutive weeks. It is definitely a song that brings some sort of memory whenever you listen to it, even now in 2010.
The female singer who ends up taking up this song better do one hell of a good job because it’s been through it all on the internet and Drake does it pretty well as it is, here is the Full/Untagged version of I’m Ready For You. P.S: I think the Instrumentals on the other version is thrash.
I know you people love this, and i will continue to feed you pictures of the bodacious Maliah Michel, here is her latest shoot which she did for Smooth Magazine. Thank Me Later.
J.Cole was the latest artist to be featured on BET’s Rising Icon as he takes the stage to perform a few of his classic songs and the latest It Won’t Be Long. His debut album drops October 26th.
