It has been less than a year since T.I. has been released from prison and to some it’s like he never left. It was at the 2007 BET Awards when T.I. was a sudden no show. But now it seems as if everybody has forgotten.
Nobody remembers his two felony charges or his one year sentence of house arrest. All his fans remember is his hits. In 2009, T.I. ran radio. He had “No Matter What” “Swing Ya Rag” “Swagga Like Us” and “Live Your Life” on constant rotation. Not to mention his four Grammy nominations off of his album “Paper Trail” alone.
Now it’s almost the end of 2010 and T.I. is just as hot as he was before. His official single from his upcoming album is “Got Your Back” featuring Keri Hilson which debuted at #38 on the Billboard Hot 100. Not to mention his new movie “Takers” also starring Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Idris Elba, Hayden Christensen and Chris Brown hitting theaters next weekend.
Before he could even go on a honeymoon with his newlywed wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle he hosted the Axe Music One Night Only Show in NYC with B.o.B, Mary J. Blige and Cam’Ron.
At the end of the day, T.I. is still killing the game and as he would say still the “KING.”
D’Banj releases the hilarious and entertaining video to his latest single Mr. Endowed off his upcoming album after the success of his last one The Entertainer, this features his friend/producer Don Jazzy.
The Idea & Concept behind this is so dope, even more seeing how J.Cole himself liked and endorsed it, shows how far Fayetteville’s Fresh Prince has come with his music and ability to inspire the best out of other people in a unique way. Big Props to Jack Labadie.
