One of the biggest rap songs ever made which has Hova and Slim Shady going toe to toe on this song off The Blueprint. Lots of people agree Eminem had the better verses but regardless it was a moment in Hip-Hop, they hardly get better than having two of the greatest to ever do it on a track. Eminem once again proves his domination of the Hip-Hop sales charts with his latest effort Recovery hitting the No. 1 spot sales wise after only being on the shelves for a week, selling 741,000 and also impacting the digital download charts by selling 255,000 and being the second biggest digital first week sales for an album right behind Coldplay’s Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends which debuted in 2008 with 288,000 digital copies sold in it’s first week.
Eminem also naturally makes big news on the Digital Songs chart with his “Recovery” collaboration with Rihanna titled “Love the Way You Lie.” It debuts at No. 1 with 338,000 downloads sold. It’s the sixth time Em has topped the Digital Songs chart and the second time he’s done it this year, following “Not Afraid’s” entry atop the list back in May with 379,000.

Eminem & Ms. Fenty perform the next single off Recovery for the crowd at the Staples Center in LA for the very first time at Activision’s E3 preview event. This song looks to me like another HIT single from Eminem, imagine how crazy the video will be when it comes out. Recovery out June 22nd.

Eminem released the track-listing to his new album Recovery dropping June 18th. Doesn’t have the regular Dr. Dre or 50 Cent feature on it but includes Rihanna, P!nk, Kobe and Lil Wayne. From the acceptance of Relapse 2 and the success of the first single Not Afraid, this is surely something that will be looked forward to by everyone who knows good music.
